Humens say a lot through Gods name, they call on Gods behalf and torture other religoins that are not right in Gods eyes. The thing is God teaches you to love and respect others not to kill and make peoples life miserable. It does not matter what you are as long as you are true in your heart and soul. Humens just like to put their judgement above everything and so the priest and preachers and so on and so forth say God says gays are wrong well NO where do you find that in the bible? No where so they are wrong for saying that and they will be judged themselves by God when they die for judging others which you should not do. That by the way is in the bible somewhere :)

You should not judge others its not in their positions just Gods. SO who ever hates you for being gay sweety just ignore it humens are made to sin and hate.

Remember Moses? God thought he had a true friend to help him witht the logistics of the Israelites' departure, and he did; Moses was an able leader. But years later when God found out Moses was a homosexual he had a conniption that was horrendous and fearsome.

Ever wonder why God is absent? In the time of the prophet Malichi, God packed up and that last thing he said was "You're on your own, perverts!"

It is said that god does many things that cannot be proven. Obviously people that claim to speak for god can put any words they want in his mouth.

And for the "god loves everybody; he hates the sin" crowd - nonsense. You presuppose that to be gay is to sin and clearly you all read from the same missalette. Don't you see that you're just part of a mob? No mob was ever tolerant and this one is no exception. With no tolerance your claim of love from that third party YOU allege exists ain't worth spit. It's like saying "I can hate as much as I want as long as God loves 'em - if he exists".

Because people don't understand what the Bible REALLY has to say on the subject. They think homosexuality and homosexuals are condemned, but that is FAR from the truth.

The passages in Leviticus, understood IN CONTEXT, are not an admonishment against loving sexual relationships between people of the same sex but instead against sex as a form of domination and control. Besides, these passages are part of the Holiness Code which is not binding to modern day Christians (or anyone else for that matter).

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was a warning against rape, inhospitality and xenophobia. The reason for Sodom's destruction is made clear in Ezekiel 16:48-50. According to Ezekiel, the sins of Sodom were pride, laziness, being inhospitable, neglecting the needs of the poor, greed, and idolatry (the worshipping of idols). Nothing about homosexuality is mentioned.

1 Corinthians was a mistranslation of the word malakee. It's used elsewhere in the Bible to mean someone who lacks discipline or one who is morally weak, and never is it used in reference to sexuality or gender.

1 Timothy? Also a mistranslation. 1 Timothy was an admonishment against male prostitution, not committed, loving same sex relationships.

The words physin and paraphysin in Romans 1 have also been mistranslated. Contrary to popular belief, the word paraphysin does not mean "to go against the laws of nature", but rather implies action which is uncharacteristic for that particular person. An example of the word paraphysin is used in Romans 11:24, where God acts in an uncharacteristic (paraphysin) way to accept the Gentiles. When the scripture is understood correctly, it seems to imply that it would be unnatural for heterosexuals to live as homosexuals, and for homosexuals to live as heterosexuals.

Add to the second line of your question :"and the rapists and the murderer and the child molester."

Sure, God loves them all but does He approve of their actions? In the end, God will destroy sin. And those who hold on to their sins (homosexuals, rapists, etc) will be destroyed with those sins.

I'm in support of the answer given by amu_abdal

As for ZERO COOL, you really need to do some Bible study rather then quoting those who want the Bible to support homosexuality.

What you're hearing is what happens when man created God in Man's own image.

As for the argument immediately above, it's quite entertaining fiction.

It is somewhat lacking. The arguments presented are flawed and prove nothing. Homosexuality being shown to not be learned by studies on intersexed people is actuallyl quite stupid as intersexed are people with a built-in reason to be BISEXUAL, and therefore, one would naturally expect some fluidity in sexual orientation.

Homosexuality was removed from the DSM simply because it no longer qualified as a disease. The only reason it could qualify as a disease is if in all cases, it proved to lead to discomfort with life. The discomfort is external, showing society to be the disease rather than homosexuality. Real mental disorders create difficulty in living life in and of themselves. Homosexuality does not.

Religious arguments are moot as they only represent the individual religions. Many religions do not have such irrational prohibitions against homosexuality.

Sorry, but the argument you presented is only valid in a Judeo-Christian context, and outside of church is wholly irrelevant.

Rom. 1:24-27: “God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them . . . God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.”

1 Tim. 1:9-11: “Law is promulgated, not for a righteous man, but for persons lawless and unruly, ungodly and sinners, . . . fornicators, men who lie with males, . . . and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching according to the glorious good news of the happy God.” (Compare Leviticus 20:13.)

Jude 7: “Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, after they . . . [had] gone out after flesh for unnatural use, are placed before us as a warning example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.” (The name Sodom has become the basis for the word “sodomy,” which usually designates a homosexual practice. Compare Genesis 19:4, 5, 24, 25.)
