can salt lose it's spice?

    I would'nt think so no. I mean really its been around forever. and it is still salty

    No, but the spices or flavors in the salt might go flat

    What kind of salt? There is halite, rock salt, sea salt, moon salt, iodized salt, kosher salt, fluer de sel and so on. Salt will always be salt but other minerals and characteristics in the salt may fade with age and weather changing the flavor.
