I consider 1962 might be an intriguing yr. The Cuban missile predicament took location in Oct. 1962. We just about had a warfare with the Soviet Union over that incident. You might additionally do your historical past challenge on 1974. During this yr, there used to be a holiday-in on the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D. C. This eventually resulted in the impeachment of President Richard Nixon. The Congressional hearings went on for months. There is a big quantity of understanding to be had in books, magazines, and on the internet approximately this.

Well actually you could just look it up on the internet, but just don't look for a book. Look up just "Immigrant life" or something like that. Or, if that doesn't work, or you already tried it, go to a library. I know, it's a drag, but if you force yourself, they actually have a lot!
