Legal to drive?

A relative of mine was recently diagnosed with parkinson's disease, and I was wondering whether it is legal for him to continue driving, or whether he'll have to retake his test. He lives in the UK.

I live in the US and was diagnosed 4 years ago and it is legal to drive. The safety question depends on how in control the disease is. There are times I will not drive for safety reasons. I would check with the area your relative lives in. They could tell you what the laws are.

it is probably legal, but how smart is it. as long as he has control of the disease and is not a threat i say go for it.
