To what volume reading does the ethanol rise?
An irregularly shaped piece of lead weighs 10.0 g. It is carefully lowered into a graduated cylinder containing 30.0 mL of ethanol, and it sinks to the bottom of the cylinder. To what volume reading does the ethanol rise?

Look up the density of lead, and then work out what volume the 10.0g piece of lead occupied, using vol = mass/density.
Then simply add that to the 30.0 ml of ethanol.
