Our dryer won't turn off at the end of the cycle. My husband replaced the timer but it didn't help.?

Unfortunatly, you may have replaced a bad timer, with, yes, a bad timer. Try each cycle and see if it shuts off, at least this way you can still use it, and it will be a good indicator that a certain cycle is broke, which directly means the timer is bad.
