summer: scorching, muggy, bright, warm, fun, sunny, hot, hot, hot!

winter: not long enough, cozy, brisk, freezing, white, nippy, jolly, silent, cold...

If you want to sound clever (or, maybe, a bit silly):

"estival" means "of, or belonging, to the summer"

"hibernal" "belonging to the winter", or "wintry".
