In what organisms we can find plasmids?

As we know, plasmids are known to be found in bacteria... what other organisms contain plasmids?? are plasmids found in humans??

    Bacteria mostly. Less commonly in yeast and algae and there are viruses with circular DNA genomes resembling plasmids, eg the circoviruses.

    no in humans. plasmid is DNA small, like a circle. It´s indepent of chromosome. It can replicate independiently. Generally contains genes of antibiotics resistance. Plasmid can "travell" to anothers baterias.

    Plasmids usually occur in bacteria, sometimes in eukaryotic organisms (e.g., the 2-micrometre-ring in Saccharomyces cerevisiae) but not in humans!
