Italian Mafia: What is their influence in Southamerica?

The Italian gangsters in during the 20th century, how do they influence in the goverment, commerce and social interaction in Southamerica. Specially in Argentina & Uruguay,where are more Italian descendants.

How did they manage these territories?

Did they meet exiliated nazis in Argentina & Brazil? (1930-1950)

    In South America the mafia didn't act so strongly like in the US. I don't know why, but that is a fact. Maybe because the Italian immigrants in South America were from the North, where the mafia is not so strong.

    There quite is not any contest, the following. The word "Mafia" purely takes position to be an Italian word. A extra ideal poll might want to be the knock-off Russian gang vs. THE mafia. because there quite is purely one.
