How can I remove a graphic from a .doc file?

I have a graphic of some sort inside a Word document and I need to save it to a file, but I don't know how, anyone able to help me? Also, I don't have word, just word viewer, does that matter?

    I'm not sure the Word Viewer will let you remove the graphic. But if saving it is your real goal, you should be able to do either of the following:

    1. Right click on the graphic and see if you get the "copy" command. If you do, then copy it, open your graphic program and paste it in a new document.

    2. Open the document in Internet Explorer or Netscape as a web page. Then you can right click on the graphic and save it to your desktop.

    viewer is not an editor...sorry...try opening the document with google. need to have a free account though.
