what is the discription of a tragic hero??

    A tragic hero is someone larger than life who has a flaw that makes him human. It is this flaw that causes the tragedy. For example, Othello is a strong warrior with much prowess and fame, but he is flawed because he is jealous and believes the worst of Desdemona, even though it is a lie. This causes his destruction. The issues in a tragedy must be serious ones, in order to be considered a tragedy. So if Homer Simpson was jealous of Marge, he would not be considered a tragic hero.
