Stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. A few of the Resorts offer villas/vacation homes...
Disney's Beach Club Resort
Disney's Boardwalk Inn
Disney's Old Key West Resort
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort
Disney's Yacht Club Resort
Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Walt Disney World is the main attraction of the Orlando area, and all of Florida. There's four theme parks, two water parks, and Downtown Disney, and as a Guest at any of the WDW Resorts you recieve free transportation to and from these destinations. Also transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport if you're flying. It's definitely worth the money, and they're really not too expensive considering all the benefits you recieve. All of the Resorts are of the highest quality. There are plenty of swimming pools at each of the Resorts. And, obviously, they're close to the parks.
Hope I could help! Have a great time!
* To Igor, the Dixie Landings Resort is no longer. It's now called Port Orleans - Riverside. I stayed there once, too (1997.) The Resort didn't change too much, though.
