    www.google.com - when you do a search type the following:

    define: search term (where "search term" is the word you are trying to define)

    For example, if you wanted the definition of "happy" you would search the following on Google:

    define:happy

    dictionary.com and search your thing, you can get thesaurus, encyclopedia, definitions, etc.
