How can be determine how much food by person its needed for party?

How many onces or reice or chicken its needed for a dinner

    On average, 6 to 8 oz chicken, and 3/4 to 1 cup of rice. for the average person, not the oakland raiders

    The safest theory is this: For every adult(over the age of 13), you should serve a minimum of 8-10 oz. of protein (beef, chicken, pork), 3/4 cup of starch (ex: rice, stuffing, potatoes, pasta), then 1/2 cup of veggies. Is for the united states, since the diet is heavily on the protein side. Good Luck! Oh course you could mix the whole thing together, to lessen the the amount of protein.

    well it depends on the person u might have a 300lb man who eats twice the amount ...as a 110lb female.. look ask around and guesstimate cooking for a party is never a science....rather cook more than not enough
