    Quantum mechanics is fascinating, as Einstein's famous quote that "God does not play dice with the universe" is turned on its head. The random nature associated with the inner workings of atoms and quarks is astonishing when one considers that despite all of the unpredictability of subatomic activity, things in the macroscopic world follow predictable patterns that seem to defy common sense.

    I believe that it is do with the sheer diversity of the subject.

    I am currently sitting Higher Physics (HARD) at the moment. Having already sat Standard Grade physics, it changes the light on which you see things i.e. you don't really see things the same way as before i.e. you see beyond the obivious aspects of things.

    Plus I like cool experiments

    none, it is a boring subject that is mainly calculations...i did not like the class...but not as bad as organic chem
