Why do milk jugs have those circular dents in their sides?

    so people like u would ask that exact same question. then the big wigs at the milk busniess are laughing in their desk chair knowing we are all going insane wondering what the heck them things r 4

    The only reason I can think of is that they planned to put the labels there.

    it is to firm up the sides!! those things have very thin walls so they 'dent' them to add rigidity!
