What if I never wanted to be created in the first place?

If there is a God, why does he put us through all of this trouble be letting creation to continue to exist? If we were never created, we would be ignorant to everything such as suffering and happiness. Why should I be held accountable for my actions in this life when I didn't agree to be born in the first place. It sounds like a judge enforcing a contract that you were forced to sign.

Life is a gift. God is the source of life according to Psalm 36:9. But is he the source of unhappiness? No. Please notice what the Bible book of James has to say: "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone."

Although God may test us, it is never with EVIL things. For example, he tested the obedience of Adam and Eve - with what? With fruit! Hardly an "evil thing" and that was done in a "garden" so huge and rich and plentiful that it had 4 rivers running through it!

God is allowing a challenge of Satan the Devil to run it's course. According to the book of Job in the second chapter, Satan challenged that no one really will stick with God and be faithful to him out of love and that when the going gets tough, all humans will curse God and abandon a relationship with him. The only thing that can answer that is TIME. Plus, there were other issues raised in the garden of Eden about God's right to rule everybody. Satan inferred that God is a liar and that the first man and woman didn't need to go by His standards of right and wrong.

There is a pre-set time that all the trouble and grief that Satan has brought upon the human family will be halted! And those that have shown God that they will remain loyal to him no matter WHAT Satan brings upon them, they will inherit the earth, just like Jesus said in Matthew 5:5. Also, they will not only see Satan and his entire wicked system done away with, but will be among those that see the fulfillment of the words in the Lord's prayer, "Let your kingdom come, let your will be done ON EARTH as it is in heaven."

They will inherit an earth that is what it would've been if Adam and Eve had never sinned. The first human couple were made perfect with the ability to keep living eternally. The only mention of death to them in the book of Genesis was in connection with IF they disobeyed, then they would die. But had they stayed obedient to God, where would they be now? Why, they would be still living right here and the whole earth would be a paradise.

Well, it still will be made a paradise, because once Almighty God sets out to accomplish something, no one can defeat him and make him give up. Wouldn't you count life as a gift from God if it was filled with nothing but happiness? I'm so sorry you're suffering so much that you would feel the way you do as per your question here. But Jehovah, the God of the Bible, has a great future in store for obedient mankind. My wish to you is that you will get to know him, the one who is the source of life. He has supplied us with a way to get to know him. It is thru an in depth study of his word, the Bible. The next time Jehovah's witnesses come around, be sure to ask them about their free home Bible study program. This is not a solicitation. It is an invitation. I hope you will consider it.

    Best wishes to you.

well, if u were never created, u wouldn't live through happiness ethier because u wouldn't exist, right? God lets u put up throuth all the tough stuff in life so that if u overcome it u will go to heaven, is that not better than not existign at all?

I'm sure you wouldn't say that if you knew all the good things that awaits you after death. So you should check out this website: http://www.near-death.com/experiences/research01.h...

There are people who have had near death experiences who asked why their lives were so hard and were told they actually chose it! I was very skeptical of this at first but then the Bible does say that God knows us before we are born and I figure how could he know us before we were born if we did not exist on some level.

You certainly have issues to contend with. I suggest that you need to spend some time alone to reflect...

Don't be pressured by your present environment. Leave town and live like a hermit in the mountains or the desert for a few months... Perhaps you will find the answers that you seek while being there.

    Peace be with you.

In my opinion, it really does no good to ponder why because it is not our decision and all the contemplating in the world will never change the fact that we are here. So, why not do all we can in our allotted time to help our fellow man and make the world a better place for all of us.

    Blessed Be

You weren't "created" -- you always were and you always will be. We're all a part of that eternal Cosmos. You weren't forced to exist - your consciousness is voluntary. If you're looking for answers in traditional Christianity to questions like this, you won't find them. But you could start by reading a couple of books about Edgar Cayce - he was a devout Christian who understood and taught the deeper mysteries of life, and your purpose for being here.

I didn't ask to pay taxes either but none the less I am forced to. And if I don't I have to answer to the government.

In the same way you will have to answer to God whether you wanted to be here or not and whether you believe in Him or not.

    Romans 9:19-21

19You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?" 20But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" 21Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honored use and another for dishonorable use?

Life is your choice. The Bible suggests you choose life. But if you don't, then you will die, and that death will be forever. Why do so many people think we al have eternal life no matter what?

This makes sence out of that and voids that point of view:

    Jeremiah 1:4-7 (King James Version)

4Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

6Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

7But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
