To start, the rule of thumb is burning more calories than your consuming. Replace high fat/calorie meals with vegetables and/or fruits. For example, when you make a sandwich, use fat free mayo, low fat cheese, and a healthier brand of meat. Snacks, use fresh vegetables or fruits. Stay away from the additivies like dressing, mayo, anything that usually makes the meal so much better. Be careful how you cook, breading and frying are the worst. Trying broiling or grilling. In your vegetable intake, you want to stick with fresh or frozen over canned because of the sodium and preservatives. As far as a workout, walking/running is the best workout that you can do all the time. Swimming is a great fat burner but if your like me, you can't swim everyday. Make breakfast or lunch your biggest meal. Dinner should be light, due to the fact that you will probably be going to bed shortly after. However, you don't want to starve yourself, that screws your matbolism all up. Everytime you eat a meal, your basically jump starting your metabolism. Its actually a lot healther to eat 5 really small meals throughout the day than 3 big meals. You really want to start working out, running, walking, sit ups, push ups, etc. These are the basics that are really easy to do. Biggest thing, cut back on sweets, cola's, and your dressings/sauces. Just don't try to loose weight really fast...it will only hurt you in the long run. You can do, it's not an overnight process, the temptaions are tough. Eating out, watching a movie, being bored. Good Luck ;)

The only answer to permanent weight loss is eat healty foods and exercise. Eat lots of RAW fruits and veggies. Work out 2 hours a day 5 days a week and the weight will fall off you. I know this isnt the answer you want to hear, but it is the only answer. I wasted much of my life looking for the magic weight loss pill or diet & regret it. Now I am slim, by following the basic steps eat healty and work out A LOT.
