In Access, how do I create a query to display info about an entry when a user types the name of it in?

    In the query go to the criteria on the field you'd like to filter on. On that line type a question in square brackets. i.e.

    [Please enter the city].

    When the query runs, your question will pop up on the screen and the user's answer will be used to filter the matching data.
