Elizibethan theatre?

Who went to the shows, what were the physical aspects of the theatre, and what was the style of acting?

    well! where to start... there were no sets, only a very basic stage with a door for exiting left, and one for exiting right. costumes were of the period - as in, even if the play was set in ancient greece, actors wore Elizabethan garb.

    As for audience, aristocracy sat in balcony seats and peasants got to stand in the dirt that surrounded the stage - but it was probably much more fun down there anyway. I am forgetting the specific terms....
