"Network cable unplugged" error on Linksys USB receiver.?

I was using a Linksys USB receiver on my Windows 2000 machine and it worked fine. One day, the machine stopped seeing the receiver. I plugged it into a different USB jack and reinstalled the driver and now the machine is seeing it again, but when I go to network settings, for the wireless connection it says, "Network cable unplugged".

I've gone into device manager and it says that this device is working correctly.

Any way I can get Windows 2000 to start working with this again so I can use my wireless connection?

Thanks.

Go into the control panel and open up network connections

Right click on that connection and make sure it isn't disabled, you can also select repair and see if that fixes it
