Theoretical and Documented Risk of HIV Transmission During Oral-Vaginal Contact
Cunnilingus carries a theoretical risk of HIV transmission for the insertive partner (the person who is licking or sucking the vaginal area) because infected vaginal fluids and blood can get into the mouth. (This includes, but is not limited to, menstrual blood.) Likewise, there is a theoretical risk of HIV transmission during cunnilingus for the receptive partner (the person who is having her vagina licked or sucked) if infected blood from oral sores or bleeding gums comes into contact with vulvar or vaginal cuts or sores.
The risk of HIV transmission during cunnilingus is extremely low compared to vaginal and anal sex. However, there have been a few cases of HIV transmission most likely resulting from oral-vaginal sex.Source(s): http://www.avert.org/orlsx.htm

ooookay, firstly, there ARE different strains, as far as scientists can tell. also, the chance of catching another STD is higher with AIDS infection, so it would be dangerous in that way also. assuming that both people are only HIV positive and are missing all of those other petty little STDs, they actually could contract another form of the virus. the HIV virus is DNA- based, not RNA-based, which means that it mutates very slowly, so there would be very little difference between strains and it would most likely not be noticeable. so to answer your question, you are both right. there are strains, but the difference in physical condition would be negligable at best.

You certainly can if she has the HIV virus. Don't take a chance unless you are 100% of the two of you not having HIV. Get tested please.

First off, it's called a VAGINA so if you don't know how to pronounce it, you shouldn't have your mouth on it. Yes, you can get H I V from any bodily fluid, semen, saliva, blood, etc.
There can be cuts in your mouth or on your lips that the virus can get into very easily. You need to do research on this subject, type in the word AIDS and start reading before it happens to you.
