Happy Hour at Portland City Grill (I believe it is 4-6, 10 to close M-F and 4pm to close on Sundays).

    Henry's

    Russell St Barbecue

Sinju (Japanese, so may fall under seafood for you)

Huber's (oldest restaurant in Portland, good meat and potatoes type of place).

El Gaucho (chain steak house, delicious)

These are all great places! Enjoy Portland!

In the Dining Out section of Yahoo under this category, you will find dining out-general. You may find an Oregon site there. There is actually one listed there for Portland. Check it out.

There are a lot of great breweries in Portland, some of them even have godd food too! I like McMenamins Kennedy School in Northeast. Great neighborhood too.

I'm a big fan of Caprial's. It is in SE. More of a place for foodies. They have a very ecclectic menu and it is very good.

Ringler's Pub is downtown, it has a nice atmosphere catering to the west side.

There's plenty of nice little cafes if you just browse around. What kind of restaurant were you looking for? Upscale? Quick bite?
