"Archibeque" is a variation of the French "Archevêque", which means "Archbishop", "Evêque" coming from the Greek "episcopis" which means "overseer" ("epi" - over + "scopa" - see). Although it is a possibility that the name was passed down from an actually Archbishop, it is more likely that is was a surname given to someone who worked as a servant for an Archbishop.
