Christmas carols on L.A. radio...why are they needed???...?

To me, traditional Christmas music here in L.A. does NOT involve singing about horse-drawn sleighs in the snow...especially when it HASN'T snowed here in 52 YEARS!!!...or chestnuts roasting over an open fire, when we've had brush fires that killed innocent firefighters, and not every house has a chimney!

Please tailor these songs to benefit the L.A. holiday scenes, like the Capitol Records Building in Hollywood adorned w/ a tree of lights on its roof...or the Santa Monica Pier w/ lights strung along both sides...

I HATE East Coast traditions that put pressure on us to conform...blame the advertising agencies on NY's Madison Avenue...

I hate to sound like a Scrooge, but this is L.A., and I DON'T like traditions that are strictly enforced...

Your take on this, please...

Thanks...

Update:

I can't BELIEVE that NO one wants to answer this question...what gives???

Happy holidays(and to the Scrooges in Washington, D.C., go jump over Rudolph's butt!!!)!!!...
