    1. Try Adaware by Lavasoft. This will look for spyware, malware, and other "wares" that are screwing with your system.

    2. Look at Registry cleaners and defrag-ers. You'll be amazed at what's probably trying to start and can't. Google "Registry Cleaner" or "Registry Defrag" - there is a lot of good software out there.

You can download Ccleaner here : http://bit.ly/1t3jm44

    To start with open Ccleaner

To make this concise, beneath is my suggested setup:

Under web pilgrim check provisional web documents, treats, and last download area. Most clients don't generally require this stuff. keep history and bookmarks unchecked, history is a possibly, however you would prefer not to lose bookmarked locales.

Run Ccleaner and it will begin erasing documents.

a while later it will give you an arrangement of the documents erased, you truly don't have to experience it as it will be a few pages long.

The registry cleaner is proposed for marginally more praiseworthy clients. Use it in the wake of uninstalling projects as they will regularly abandon erroneous registry sections.

In the event that you choose to run Registry cleaner then audit the things identified and constantly move down the registry (I keep an envelope aside for this)

The Tools tab gives you a chance to uninstall projects and set startup programs. Why do you require this if Windows has these peculiarities? Particularly with Vista Home Ed. The windows safeguard programming wayfarer( startup programs) doesn't get a few sections (however programming adventurer is less demanding to utilize).

Utilizing Ccleaner to uninstall projects and after that check for remaining registry passages takes less time.

Under Options you can decide how Ccleaner cleans your records. I allow this to sit unbothered.

How many programs do you have opening when you power up? Did you just install a new program?

Having an antivirus program on your computer is NOT a guarantee that your computer is virus free. Many people do not keep their security software updated. And even updated security programs are only as good as the company's programmers keep it updated themselves. It's best to run an online scan from a different company about once a week to make sure.

    1. get rid of most of the start up programs in the START UP menu.

    2. CRAP CLEANER!!!

    3. Then, AVG!

    4. Then, Adaware, by Lavasoft

    5. GET shootthemessenger!!!

all are on google.com or http://kartoo.com search engines

Get a FREE LiveCDrom of http://pclinuxos.com and if it seems to run faster, even though it is just running LIVE in the CDrom drive!

Your computer might have hardware issues or some failed RAM.

Anyway, this LiveCDrom will run in the CD, boot in RAM disc, and test all hardware for you, as it boots up! Then, click on the command console in the bottom tool bar, and type "dmesg", for the start logs you can scroll through!

    go to the run line

    type in

    msconfig

    open startup

uncheck all boxes except systray, if indeed it is listed.

    should help the boot speed.

also, go to control panel, system icon, open advanced, open settings on the top line

    and checkmark 'best performance.

that will speed up the computer greatly

What you can do is... delete some files... Memory is also a factor of slowing down the performance. Try to get rid of some files you don't really need. I hope this can help you. (NOte:bigger file sizes... the better!) :)
