Troubleshoot all the possibilities to this problem.

    1. In the taskbar, is there a cross-circle over the little speaker? If so, your sound has been muted.

    a. Check your keyboard MUTE button.

    b. or double the speaker and check the "mute" feature on the settings.

    c. turn up your sound on your keyboard control, and on your speaker control

    2. If that didn't fix the problem, next

Go to your Computer Properties > Device Manager, and check the sound and audio drivers. If you see a yellow exclamation mark

go online to the manufacturers site

    and download new free drivers.

    Install them

    Restart your computer.

    3. If that doesn't work

Try swapping your speakers for other ones that you KNOW are working. It IS possible that speakers burn out.

    4. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace your sound card on your motherboard.

Remove your sound card from your computerj>

install it into another computer to see if it is working or not.

You can get a new sound card on ebay

    or at Crucial.com
