Can you ovulate with HCG still in system after miscarriage?

Did anyone ovulate and become pregnant with HCG still in system after miscarriage? If so what level were you?

    It can very well happen. HCG does not keep you from ovulating. A boost in estrogen makes you ovulate.

    When you're pregnant, progesterone skyrockets, keeping you from ovulating again.

    HCG is only produced when you're pregnant. It is only a by-product hormone of pregnancy, though. It does not affect ovulation in any way.

    If you're not ready to become pregnant again (and most of the time, doctors will recommend that you wait until after your first period after a miscarriage to try again), use protection until you're ready.
