Originally started in 1969, but, not really recognized as a 'group' until1972. A group called the, Rainbow Family of Living Light, or just the Rainbow Family or the Rainbow Tribe. The 'main' belief and 'function is "peace & love"... of the planet, that is. Their platform is compassion and understanding. Their groups meet and gather all over the world, annually. Although, highly criticized for their 'rampant' drug use, and considered a 'cult' to some. The group still exists, today.

i believe they're a group of homeless people living in the oacala national forrest in florida. pretty much they're hippies. they live in tents, it's like a commune. they're still there but the government has been trying to force them out the last few years.
