I deleted my chat buddy on my yahoo messenger list a week ago. Now I want to contact him again thru YM.?

I went to yahoo member directory (under Find People on Yahoo) to do a search using his messenger id but it didn't show up. Isn't messenger id the same as the your email address?

Yes but the member directory search hasn't worked on Yahoo! for a long time. So unless you can remember his screen name, then you may never contact him again.

Why don't you just email him and tell him you need to talk or whatever?
