how come whenever i sign on to yahoo all of my friends are gone?

i signed on to yahoo & it tells me that i have the wrong password & i can relogin but it does the same thing. but if i just exit out of the box, it lets me stay on & everyone else can see me on but i cant seen anyone.

make sure your yahoo messenger is set to show all offline friends. you can do this by clicking on view on the top of your messenger list. otherwise its set to online friends showing and if none are online it will look like all your friends have disappeared on you.
