Is there a program to check the contents of a recently burned disc? (dvd or cd)?

I recently backed up a ton of my files on 3 dvds, and I want to delete many of these files of my hard drive. Is there a program (on windows or somewhere else) that will extensively search my dvd for any errors? My goal is to MAKE SURE that every file was successfully burned on a dvd. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

The program I use for this is called BeyondCompare

It's only trial but it works and you can keep using it after the trial expires, you just have to put up with nag screens.

Remember to set the mode to byte compare and not just name compare to ensure your files are correct =-)

Unfortunately, the only way to test it is to install it on another computer.
