What is a good insurance company in Washington for someone with a pre-existing condition?

    There isn't one.

    You have to consider what you are really asking.

    You are basically asking a pool of people (all the other insureds who are paying premiums) to take you into their pool and have them pay for the majority of your care costs that you will only pay a fraction of...

    Why would any one agree to that?

    Once you consider it from that perspective, then you'll realize why companies won't do this.

    Depends on what type of insurance you are looking for. If you are of Medicare age, and in "open enrollment" an insurance co in Washington has to take you. Long Term Care Policies will take you and not have a pre existing clause if they get your medical records and insure you based on those. Health Insurance, not likely. What type of insurance?
