Andy Warhol said that everybody will be famous for 15 minutes. I had mine. I was lucky enough to be on the right project at the right time. Maybe the easiest answer is seek greatest and let fame find you. I presume from the section where this question appears that you seek to be a performer. Simply, every day try to do your best even when no one seems to care. As someone once said, "To thine own self be true."

Fame is relative. I local high school sports hero is famous in his town, but no one knows him outside of his area. There are famous artists that no one knows because they dont like art. Choose what you want to be famous for and become the best at it. Start locally and build outward from that. Do not strive for fame but for mastery of whatever it is you endeavor. Once you master that , fame will come. By the way doing bad things does not make you famous it makes you infamous.

You can do pretty much anything these days to become famous. Go to McDonalds, spill an icy beverage on you, complain of frostbite and sue.

You don't honestly think they actuallly decide to go after Britney! She pays people to keep her name on thier list, as God forbid they forget her now that she doesn't make records, do tours and just stays home and makes babies like any normal girl. I mean at least Angelina is still making movies!
