My baby used to do that, he was only 5 weeks old when he slept 10 hrs straight the first time. He's a wonderful toddler now and I always let him sleep, my mom used to tell me the babies will let you know when they need to eat. But if it really bothers you, call your Dr.

  • My baby started sleeping through the night very early on. About a month ago he started waking up in the middle of the night and I tried to feed, but he wasn't hungry... All I had to do was put the pacifier in his mouth and he would go back to sleep.

I wouldn't worry about it, my mom and dad were foster parents at one time and my mom said they got a newborn 3 to 4 days after he was born... He slept through the night the first night (and every other night) and she said she was scared to death in the morning when she woke up a realized that it was morning, but he was just fine.

Every baby really is different, and every baby changes. Next week yours might wake up every night for a bottle, or she may continue to sleep through the night, you never really know.

If you have any major concerns and ask your doctor.

My oldest started sleeping up to 12 hours a night when he was 6 weeks old. You are lucky to have a baby that sleeps during the night. Don't wake her to eat, she'll tell you when she's hungry. Just enjoy the quiet and get some sleep! Congrats!

My baby started sleeping through the night at 10 weeks. Now it depends on her feeding before she goes to sleep. Make sure your baby gets enough and a little more thatn the usual feeding. Good luck ,I know you can use the rest and let not your heart be troubled. According to my pediatrician it was fine.

Some babies sleep through the night very young. Be glad. My kids were all good sleepers. They woke up really hungry in the morning, but ate well through the day and before they went to bed. Don't worry. As long as she is healthy and happy, she is doing fine.

Yes. This is normal. After about the first six weeks to eight weeks your baby will start to sleep through the night. If would not hurt for you to see a doctor to be sure but stick to your regular check ups and good luck...

You need to call the doctor. She may be dehydrated. My son is almost 2 and only slept though the night maybe 20 times.

Maybe the baby hates the milk/formula. Try some other brand.

It's normal once in a blue moon if baby is tired, however, at her age she should still be eating more frequently. Sounds like you need to call the doctor. Not only does she need the nutrition but you run a very serious risk of dehydration. Call your pediatrician tonight. I can guarantee they have an after hours service that can give you advice and then let you know if you should bring her in. Dehydration is very dangerous so be sure to do this as soon as possible. Better safe than sorry and it sounds as if she really does need to see the doctor.

I babysit alot, and I know that baby's can sleep for a while, just like us, and not get hungry. But when they wake up they are as likely to feed as to not feed. But if your child is not eating, she might be needed to be seen by a doctor. Hope the info was helpful, and your daughter eats!!!
