food to spoil

bacteria cause food to spoil and meat to rot. Expain why salted pork, strawberry preserves, and sweet pickles do not spoil even though they are exposed to bacteria. name other foods preserved n the same manner

    salted pork - sodium sulphate and sodium nitrite as meat perservatives

    strawberry - citric acid

    pickles - vinegar
