in the halloween movies why the ghost/assasin whatever is named michael myers?? any connection with michael myers the actor?? i mean at least that ghost might be coneccted to austin powers...

no michael myers was the name of some guy at the premeir or something at one of John Carpenter's earlier movies and apparently he was important because he was "paying tribute to him" by naming the killer Michael Myers

Because that is the character's name in the script, Michael Myers. It has nothing to do with the "Austin Powers" movies.
