ok i ran the file search and my computer can not find yahoo messenger media?
so i still can not change my sounds help

not sure what you mean when you say you cant change the sound, but i suggest you reinstall yahoo

You type this into run C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Media and hit enter. Or go to this page, it has instructions and has a zip file that installs the old sound Waves directly into the media folder.
