    To leave the status undetermined

    To leave her waiting outside

    His boss's criticism left him feeling rather abashed.

His boss's criticism let him feel rather abashed.

His boss's criticism left him feeling rather abashed這句有點不對勁 應寫成His boss's criticism let his feeling rather abashed而可以改寫成His booss's criticism let him feel rather abashed

His boss's criticism left him feeling rather abashed.
