”make up one's mind”後接動名詞嗎

The most difficult thing is that I can't_______.

我選的答案是"really make up my mind quitting smoking".但顯示的答案是"really make up my mind to quit smoking".

make up my mind 後面是接 to+原形動詞, 沒錯. 之所以接 smoking 是戒掉什麼東西 quit +Ving, 而不是 make up my mind 後面接 Ving例如: I make up my mind to study hard. to 後面是接動詞原型但 He has quit smoking. quit 後面是接 Ving希望夠清楚...

do you mind lending me some money?

    而make up my mind 的mind是當決心來解釋

    to + V

V-ing

I really can't make up my mind " to quit "

I really can't make up my mind quitting smoking
