    Favorite Answer

    41 Randy Johnson- C+

He had spectacular pitching when it didn't count, but when it did, he choked.

    35 Mike Mussina- A-

Was consistant throughout the season, and had an overall great year.

    43 Scott Proctor- B-

He was pretty important to the Yankees, but didn't come out on top in some of the tight games.

    42 Mariano Rivera- B+

With a total of 34 saves on the season he did well. It wasn't his best season, but it was a good one.

    40 Chien-Ming Wang- A

Had 19 wins on the season and had an overall great year.

    34 Jaret Wright- D

Spent most of the season on the DL and struggled when healthy.

    20 Jorge Posada- A

Was one of the key players for this team this season.

    22 Robinson Cano- B+

Had a good year offensivly and defensivly. He was 2 poitns behind Jeter for the Batting AVG leader on the team, and was third in the Batting title race.

    25 Jason Giambi- B+

Had a great year and was 6 homers shy from his carear high.

    2 Derek Jeter- A+

He was the leader of this team(as usual). Mr.Clutch is top-candidate for AL MVP.

    13 Alex Rodriguez- F

Mr. Choke for this team this year. Had many errors, and absolutely CHOKED.

    53 Bobby Abreu- B+

Came in at the trade-deadline to take over RF. Did very well and had a good few months since joining the Yankees.

    18 Johnny Damon- A

Had a pretty good hitting season. Great year.

    Hideki Matsui- C-

Devastated by injury and out for most of the season. Didn't really have a chance.

    11 Gary Sheffield- C-

Devasted by injury as well. And did an OK job coming back to 1B.

    51 Bernie Williams- B-

Didn't expect to play much this season, but because of injury had alot of starts. Didn't do so well, but kept the Yankees going.

    6 Joe Torre- A-

I don't care what anyone says. Just because he didnt get the Yanks far into the playoffs.. they had a great season and he deserves some credit.

    My Addition:

    28 Melky Cabrera-A

Had a fantastic year coming in for injured Matsui.

I give all the Yankees a doube F because the Yankees are a bunch of greedy money hungry players that have no true interest in the sport or have any understanding of being loyal to a team. Besides with a Salary of almost $1 billion for the players and you still can't win a Championship, I would release all of them.
