Just wondering.... since I don't recall anyone stepping down for the Gerry Studds affair. . .would that be the honorable Tip O'Neil?

It has never happened and I could not find any reference to any democrat in congress resigning ever, yet they consistently scream that others should.

You would think America would set aside their partisanship and notice a distinct hypocrisy in the democrats. Studds was disgusting as was Franks, running homosexual whores out of his home in DC.

I believe the democrats have sunk to a level that they will never be able to recover from.

Maxine Waters might want to be hillarious, she is batcrap loopy, might want to as well pick Michelle Bachman (R) MN, I guess those too bypass to the bars in DC at the same time. yet heavily, i do not imagine Pelosi might want to step down, even even with the actuality that as a democrat, i favor her too and it has no longer some thing to do with any CIA briefing. i understand Murtha develop right into a favored posibility even as she develop into elected, yet he's been quiet because. i'd favor to work out someone like Ron type of Wisconsin get it. he's youthful, yet extremely smart and pushed. or possibly Pomeroy of North Dakota I also like Adam Smith, WA and Robert Wexler FL. lengthy photos, yet my 2 cents. See the challenge is that the republicans have pent up rage, yet lack the numbers, they're battling to maintain Franken out in MN, yet which will subside quickly in the journey that they favor a risk to win the different fights, so that they actually ought to come back to a call on their battles or free all of them. Do they favor to maintain Franken out, and enable Pelosi stay? Do they favor to wrestle well being care reform or do they favor to convey the non secular suitable again into the blend and wrestle whoever Obama nominates to the superb courtroom? they could't win all of them, they in simple terms don't have the numbers. My funds is on the superb courtroom wrestle. They make fairly some noise and Obama seems to furnish in an appoints a average, republicans declare victory then years later call the nominee a liberal besides because she would not area with the right wing nutjobs.

No. No one did. And Studds was welcomed by his party during the next congress with three standing ovations and awarded with a committee chairmenship. Apparently the Dems are so upset with Foley because it's only OK for the Dems to bugger underage pages.

Studds got a standing ovation from his Democratic colleagues in his first House appearance following his censure - I think that says it all about where the Democratic party is coming from.

There's nothing like the present, especially when Republican sympathizers try to point the blame at events that happened elsewhere 20 years ago and at Democrats who knew nothing about this slimy affair. Republicans knew everything and they were too busy power grabbing, maneuvering to destroy your rights and murdering other populations to do anything about it.

They blew it and don't deserve to be there. Clean up the party, find some honorable leaders and throw those those bums out. It's as simple as that and everyone's waiting for followers like you to figure that out.

  • Hastert and his cronies covered up the Foley affair.

Do you have any evidence of wrongdoing by Tip O'Neill that the rest of us don't know about?
