Why is gasoline priced at less than a penny when there is no curency fo this?

    its rounded up and from the street looks less expensive

  • i don't know about the currency thing, but I know there's really no difference between the gases. a person I know worked for a auto gasoline hauling company for a while and they said that they put the same gas in the same pumps that there isn't any diff between them.

    Because they round up the amount and make a few extra tenths of a cent on every customer.

    it's the same as stuff that is priced 6995.95 is cheaper than 7000.

    it's psychological. Makes you think it's less expensive.
