science is a systematic way to study and understand things around us,it may or may not have any practical value, application or purpose.science is used to explore the unknown.
engineering is the practical application of scientific principals for problem solving and design. it always has practical value, application and purpose. it uses what is known
i hope that this is of practical use to you .

1. Science is a broad term that applies to many areas of study, whereas engineering is more of a specific subject within the broad study of science.
Other than that, anything you'd do while engineering, you'd have to do with any other study of science. (except, of course, the few differences which define engineering, making it a bit different from other sciences)Source(s): ; )
