I understand totally. My parents raised me and my 4 sisters in the Pentecostal faith. We were forbidden to wear pants, cut our hair, or put on makeup. My dad said it was "immodest" to wear clothes that a man wears.
Well, we all grew up and found out on our own, it is more modest to fit in with the crowd and pants are more comfortable. A little makeup here and there dont hurt and a nice hair cut feels good. Needless to say none of us stick out anymore. I can pick out a Pentecostaler woman in the Walmart, or anywhere because they just plain stand out in a crowd because they dont dress or look like anyone else.
I think you should wear whatever you are most comfortable in. If you prefer jeans, then put on jeans. God loves you anyways.
To he honest, I think your husband is acting like a control freak.
I hate to say that because I know how it is to be under the power of your mate. My mother obeyed my dad until she died. Life would have been so much better for her and us if my dad had a little more sense. It is your life. Live it to the fullest. What can he do if you put on a pair of pants? Go for it.
