漢英字典上的"蠢蠢欲動"譯為:(someone) be ready to make trouble這是因為"蠢蠢欲動"的原意是指"有不好的事情要發生",有點"山雨欲來"的感覺!現在的"蠢蠢欲動"則不見得一定是指不好的意思,反而比較偏向中性的語意,所以如果你指的是不好的事你可以用上述的片語,或是:Some trouble is going to happen.Someone is restless and about to make trouble.Unable to keep one's cool, someone is going to make trouble.如果偏中性的話就說:Something is going to happen.Something is about to break out.Something is on the verge of happening.Unable to remain still, something is about to happen soon.

如果你只是要表達"我的心蠢蠢欲動",早說嘛!就不需要寫的這麼複雜了:I am itching (for something) OR (to do something).itch 原本有"癢"的意思,當動詞用就是"心癢難耐/渴想某事",也就是"心蠢蠢欲動"囉!也可以當名詞:I have an itch (for something) OR (to do something)

蠢蠢欲動 ---> An active dormancy is anxious for moving forward.
