The law of parallelogram of forces?

send me tha law of parallelogram forces:

    the reultant of two forces ( with an angle to one another) acting in two directions, can be found using this method.

    it is dificult to explain without a sketch.

    suppose fist force is AB and the other is CD

    draw AB on a paper to a proper scaleand to its direction. now draw the force CD to its direction (to the same scale) such that the starting point C is at A.

    now draw a parrel line to CD starting at B and having the same length as CD. do the same for AB and u will get a paralleogram .

    now the diagonal which goes through A ( orC) gives you the magnitude (length of diagonal ) and the direction of the resultant.

    direction is A to other end .

    ...............

    or else without drawing to a scale you can use trigonomatry to find the resultent.
