If you have studied your bible you would notice that the type of tonges mentioned was the speaking of different languages. I myself believe when the phrase of speaking in tonges in mentioned, it means to speak in french, spanish, english, Arkansan, a language that isn't man made. Now once saved always saved? No, way my man. You must work for your salvation. Yes, it is freely given to you by God, but you must protect your salvation. Yes, we all fall short of the glory of the Lord, but that's where Jesus comes into play. What is given can be taken away. Now, Will Unbelievers again trust the bible? Only God knows, but it's hard for a nonbeliever to justify what he knows little about.

I am a good person. I try my best to do good deeds. I treat people well, as I hope to be treated (do unto others...) I don't, however, believe every word that's written in the Bible. It's a good book, for sure, but to be digested in the light of reason. Do you think I should go to Hell?

The Bible was put together as part of a historical process. Things were added and taken out over the decades and centuries. It did not simply descend from heaven. Ask any serious theologian and they will confirm this. It can, and should still be questioned today. An unquestioning faith is a dead faith.

Let me ask you this: If you're worshiping the Bible, the text and the paper, as your one and true God, aren't you in fact worshiping an idol? Is that not a golden calf? It's just a book made out of paper and leather, after all, by the hand of man.

God being outside of time and space knows that many people will not make it - but the thing is that WE don't know who they are at this time, so we pray for all and help each other in our walk.

Once saved always saved - I believe that and have read scriptures to back that one up.

I have never seen anything in the bible against speaking in tongues in church - though I think conducting a whole service in it would be silly. Its about everything in its place. Not all prophesy, not all teaching, not all worship, not all intercession.

I do believe that some attending church will be shocked that they will end up in hell - when Jesus says, "I know you not".

We are not to judge here and now - that is for God. Who knows but in the last moments of a sinner's life they will understand and accept Jesus. We are charged with loving and helping each other until Jesus' return without judgement and that is what I plan to do.

Who cares Christianity is a cult that was created during the 4th century when Constantine held the first Council of Nicae. They had to mix the pagan Roman religions with Christianity. There is still evidence of that, i.e. December 25, was the birth of many Roman gods. Also its polythiestic nature. Christianity is only so large today because it was spread by force on the people conquered by the Romans. In 390AD all other cults/religions were banned and every other temple/idol etc was destroyed and Christianity became the empires cult. Actually I believe Judaism was tolerated, but under several restrictions.

Tongues in church is only wrong if there is no interpretation.

[1 Cor 14:27] If anyone speaks in a tongue, let it be two or at most three, and each in turn, and one should interpret.

[1 Cor 14:28] But if there is no interpreter, the person should keep silent in the church and speak to himself and to God.

Once saved always saved is a very dangerous teaching. When you deliberately sin after having accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you make a mockery of the crucifixion. Once you accept Jesus you are supposed to die to sin.

[Gal 5:24] Now those who belong to Christ (Jesus) have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires.

[Gal 5:25] If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit.

So you want to entice people back to Christianity by telling them they can sin all they want?? You need to read Scripture more carefully and pray for enlightenment.

There is one God but there are a multitude of paths to the one. You are free to choose Christianity and I am free not to choose it. Even Atheists who value life and love their fellow man are on a path to what we call God.

It is not where you worship or even WHAT you perceive as worship that determines the quality of your faith. Your LIFE and how you live it is your true worship of God, no matter what name you call God or even if you believe in a God.

Going to church does not save you, claiming to be of a particular faith is also not the answer. Living a life that is good is a testament to the quality of your belief NOT what you profess to believe once or twice a week.

When the translation of Jesus’ teaching was done there was a whole list of words that could have been used instead of “am” in the phrase “I am the light and the way” one of those is “I have lived as the light and the way” meaning that to come to the father one must live as I have lived NOT worship me as God.

Unbelievers??? These are 2 subjects that are argued among the many denominations of Christianity by believers. Non-believers just don't believe in anything to do with Christianity.

Why on earth do you have to be so arrogant? I could say I hope you discover one day that there is no hell or heaven. But that would be assuming there isn't any as THE truth, and assuming you only have to find that out. You and I have OUR different truths, neither of us holds THE truth. And you don't discover someone's truth. You learn about it. You only discover THE truth. And that is something no one knows about.
