F=ma.

F1=36kg*-9.8m/s^2

F1=-352.8N

F2=282N

Total force is F1+F2 = 282-352.8

Total F=-70.8N

F=ma

a=F/m

a=-70.8N/36kg

a=-1.9666666666666667m/s^2
