what is the testosterone hormone level required for an adult?

Normal values may vary from lab to lab.
Total Testosterone Men:
300–1,000 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL)
less than 100 ng/dL
Free Testosterone Men:
50–210 picograms per milliliter (pg/mL)
less than 10 pg/mL
The amount of testosterone in young boys and girls before they start puberty is lower than it is in adult men and women.
hope I helped.

I think what you're asking is what the normal level should be if you're an adult male...If your doctor were to draw your blood and have the total testosterone level checked, the result should be between 241-827. If it is below this range, it is low. If it is above, then it is high.Source(s): i'm a nurse
